Based in Ongar Community Centre, Dublin 15, Ongar Grinds offers grinds to Leaving & Junior Certificate Students in French, Spanish, Maths and Irish. Other subjects can be offered depending on demand.

Ongar Grinds provides weekly grinds for students in 3rd and 6th year. Grinds are 60 minutes in duration and are held in a class-based environment.
Sean O’Boyle – Maths
Sean has being teaching Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, and third level students for nearly ten years now. Having graduated from Maynooth University with a B.A in Mathematics and History, he returned to college again this time graduating with BA in Education. In 2015 Sean signed a publishing contract with the Educational Company , more popularly known as EdCo, to publish a 6 book series which is still available and used in Primary Schools today. Following this, Sean has turned his attention towards the special educational needs sector of education but still enjoys helping Junior and Leaving Cert students overcome whatever difficulties they may have in the maths curriculum today.
Dearbhla Garrett – Irish
Dearbhla graduated with her B.A. in Nua Gaeilge and Music and H.Dip in Education from NUI Maynooth. She has 13 years teaching experience in Castleknock Community College and Ratoath College teaching Music and Irish to both Leaving & Junior Cert students.
Elaine Sweeney – Irish
Elaine is originally from Galway and has a strong passion for Gaeilge. She has a BA Honors degree in Gaeilge and Economics from NUI Galway, where she also completed a diploma sa Dána (Gaeilge).
Elaine began teaching six years ago and has being teaching Gaeilge, Business and Economics to all levels ever since
Rachel Dudgeon – Irish (Junior Cert)
Rachel graduated from St Patrick’s College with a B.Ed. Honours degree. Rachel studied Irish as part of her degree and has been teaching for the past 5 years.
